Purses are personal
I just counted. I have 21 purses. It even sounds ridiculous to me. There are two canvas, five fabric, three faux leather, two suede (I think), six leather and three product-origin unknown. Some are summer and some winter. Most are the result of an irresistible sale and are more than a few years old. I am a purse hoarder.Some are quite small and others medium in size. I don’t go for the overnight bag-size purses. They are too heavy empty, and I don’t want to have to carry a flashlight to see what is on the bottom. Each of my purses answered a need at one time. (My other half will choke on that.) I just can’t seem to get rid of them. I have a faux straw purse that I love but haven’t used in at least five years.
Now that I have a smartphone, the size and weight of a small brick, it is causing me a number of purse problems. I am currently using a small cross-body purse. My new one, also on sale, does not have enough room for a wallet so I found this flat thing that holds paper money and a few credit cards. Add my phone and a checkbook that I only use occasionally, and one side is full. The other side has a small change purse, lipstick, a pen, my keys and those blasted key cards.
